GC Minkitty's Sweet Caroline,a Champagne Mink Tonkinese, delivered her first litter on February 4th, 2008.
The father is Rocky Raccoon, a Natural Mink.Caroline had four kittens.
One is a Champagne Solid and the others are Champagne Minks and Points - three boys and a girl.

It's always scary when you have a first time mom but my dear Sweet Caroline did great.  The kittens are fat and happy.

Kittens open their eyes at about 10 days - sometime sooner.  The coat color starts to come in about that time.
It still takes a little while longer to fully determine the color and pattern of the kittens.

Since Caroline was a first time mom, I bred two back up females (Chanson and Rosie) just in case Caroline did not have enough milk.

Carolyn's kids at 6 weeks
Here is a picture of the kittens at 6 weeks.
It is hard taking pictures at this age because
they just don't sit still. Three boys and a
girl.  The dark one is a champagne solid.
The kids are in my bedroom.  They are
litter box trained and on solid food.

I let them out of my bed room for short periods of time.
