Summer, Baby (Champagne Mink Boy) and Tiger\

I love getting cards from my
extended Tonkinese families.  I remember when Summer (about 3 at the time) came to my home with her mom Christine to pick out their "new baby".  Here they are 5 years later, Summer, with Baby (a Champagne Mink Tonkinese) and Tiger, their domestic
short  hair. Baby is the litter mate to Colby, Reggie, Boodles, Pandora, and Chai.

Emma, a platinum mink with Simon, a DSH

Emma, in the back, is a Platinum Mink girl who lives with Heather, Steve and her best buddy Simon, a blue domestic short hair. Those of you who have tonks will immediately relate to this picture. You will always find them in the warmest spot in the house, near a heating vent, on your lap, or under covers with you at night.  2005

Adeline and Moochi

Sweet Adeline,a Champagne Solid Tonkinese, lives with Michelle, Chris and two DSHs. Here she is pictured with Moochie. They recently got another kitten from me (see Chanson's 06 litter). Tonkinese are addicting.

Colby a Champagne Mink boy

Colby is a Champagne Mink boy who  lives here in the Cleveland area with Doug.  Notice how aqua his eyes are. Colby is the brother to Reggie.

Champagne Mink and Solid

Dimitri and Chai are Champagne Solid
and Champagne Mink boys.  They live in Pittsburgh with their family Julie, Tony,
Megan and Pooka (a Champagne Point
boy from one of my earlier litters).  I
usually see the family once a year at the Pittsburgh show (another reason I love
 to show).

Emma and Simon

Do Tonks get along with other cats?  Generally Yes.  Here is a picture of
Emma (Platinum Mink Tonk) and her
new buddy Simon (Blue DSH) after
just three weeks.

Sleeping Rex

One of the questions I ask potetial buyers is where the new kitten will sleep. This is the correct answer.

Milo Jacob and Fudge Allen live with the Karpinski Family.  Milo is a Champagne
Mink and Fudge is a Natural Mink

Tonka a platinum point boy

Tonka, the Platinum Point kitten from my Feb 07 litter now lives with Charlotte and Rex - another tonk.  Tonka was the one that had no hair.  I called him Harry.

Reggie and Laura

This is Reggie and Laura. Like the picture above, Tonks like to sleep with their humans.

Vickies Tonks

Vickie's Tonks.

Bob's Champagne Mink

Callie, is a Champagne Mink female who lives with Bob in Maple Heights. You can tell by looking at this picture that Callie is talking to Bob.  Tonks generally like to talk.  One thing I've noticed is that a single tonk in a home will talk more than in a multi cat household.

I found this nice message on the Cleveland Persian Web site's  guest book page dated February 16, 2005.  Thank you Barb.

I purchased a Champagne Mink from Nancy Mikita in July 2001.  Her name is Ming and she is the love of my life, (also my Husband's too)  he was not really a cat person until we got Ming.

She is so loveable, loves to give kisses and lick my nose.  She is so spoiled she sleeps with us at night and she has her own heated throw she will sleep on all day.

She is such a pleasure to have.

I want to thank Nancy for being such a good breeder.

Thanks,
Barb xxxxx  (last name omitted )
